Where has Ryan been? Busy training and making programs for all of you!!!
Here is the first trailer for the soon to be released Rings One. I can’t tell you how proud I am of this. To be able to share my gymnastic background coupled with CST is a dream come true.
What do you think of this trailer?

This looks amazing, Coach! Have to get me some rings, I think this will do wonders for me
Looks very nice, especially including CST “health first” principles of warmup/cooldown/supplemental compensatory exercises (right?)
Query on prerequisites: most pullup or ring work requires a considerable amount of accessory muscle stability or general strength — as well as the ability to safely maintain “holds” or “clenched” static positions to start with. That sometimes causes issues for folks with elevated blood pressure.
How much of a “beginner” can one be and start this program?
That’s a really good question. Yes, holds are very common. But because this is taught from a CST perspective we focus on Selective Tension, Incremental Progression and of course proper breathing. In other words, as long as you are gradually working up to the movements/holds and breathing properly I foresee no problems. Of course, I would always get the OK from your Dr. before doing the workout, Doc.
We need to get a group of Ring Masters up there in Norway!
